Putah Creek Winters, California fishing report.

This weeks report comes from Winters California. Featuring Putah Creek. Putah Creek flows through Monticello dam from Lake Berryessa. The creek below the dam is 100% barbless Hook artificial only no bait, 100% catch and release the section of Putah Creek below the damn Flows all the way to Lake Solano. This whole section even lake Solano is 100% catching release barbless hook, artificial lures only.

The creek is completely accessible at this time of year. Water flows are great for fishing. Water is crystal clear so add that into your fishing plan. I suggest a 5X 6X or 7X leader as the water is so clear. Fishing is tough here as this is a wild trout stream. It does get pretty good pressure.
