Report from Montezuma slough launch ramp or also known as Belden's Landing. Today water temperature was 63° in 3 feet of water in the current. 63 deg is prime for Striped Bass to spawn. Water is pretty muddy visibility about 12”. I talked to a few fishermen as of this time 10:36 AM. Everybody here at least has a fish or has been limited out minnows seem to be the bait of choice so far for the Striped Bass.

As far as the launch ramp goes there it is a two lane ramp. Room for in and out traffic. There is also a nice dock to tie up to while waiting to pull the boat out or after launching and parking the trailer.

Also, kayak launching is quite easy from here. I have launched my Hobie pro angler 14 many times here and also on the dock, they have a kayak dock where you pull your kayak slightly into a slip like a floating dock and you were able to get out and get up on the dock. I will include a picture of this.

Over all the launching facility is in pretty good shape I feel that it is a relatively safe place and plenty of parking. This place does get packed when there is a run of fish though.

Day use is as shown on the picture

$8.00 for peak season parking April 1st-September 30th

$6.00 off peak season October 1st-March 31st

Boat launch $12.00 per vehicle.

There is also a Solano County Parks pass that at this time is $89.00 a year. This pass is one year from the date that you buy it.

As seen in the photos there is a Kiosk where you can pay with credit card or debit. There is also envelopes where you can make cash payments also.
